Our story began in 1989 when we opened a tiny shack down by the water to serve fish and chips. We started with a small staff and limited menu. Over time our staff and offerings grew. Eventually we moved to our current location at 237 Taylor, and, after extensive renovations (while keeping the building’s historic integrity and character intact) we opened our sit-down restaurant.
Since then we have served countless lunches, dinners, glasses of wine and beer, and creative craft cocktails to happy customers. Through collaborative partnerships, commitments to sustainability, and exceptionally good food, we aim to nourish the bodies and souls within our community.

COVID-19 has changed our serving style slightly. Right now we are only doing take-out and outdoor dining. We have diverse menu that works well for take-out or for eating here. Plenty of covered and heated outdoor places to eat and drink.
For our food come and order at the bar then find a place a social distance yourself and we will bring it to you when it’s ready. Or, use our QR code on the table and we will bring you drinks and food without even having to take a step inside!
